Ubuntu 12.04 LTS codename 'Precise Pangolin' scheduled release at April 2012, Ubuntu 12.04 will become latest Ubuntu Long Term Support since Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. LTS (Long Term Support) means Ubuntu version which usually have 3 years technical support from connonical, especially for Ubuntu server edition it will be 5 years support. Hopefully Ubuntu 12.04 will be better than 11.10 Oneiric in term of appearance, support and performance and also release as scheduled. According to ubuntu.com, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS will have 5 years support for desktop edition, i guess this will be a special product from ubuntu.

- March 1st, 2012 - Beta 1 release

- April 19th, 2012 - Release Candidate release
- April 26th, 2012 - Final release of Ubuntu 12.04
